Spinach Mango Smoothie

Serves 1


1/2 cup cubed frozen or fresh mango
1/2 cup packed fresh baby spinach
1/2 cup plain reduced fat yogurt or kefir
1/3 cup vanilla protein powder
4 ice cubes
2 tablespoons chopped pecans, pistachio, or peanuts
2 tablespoons ground flax or chia


Place all ingredients in a blender along with 1/2 cup water and process until smooth. Serve immediately.

Swaps and Substitutions

  • Swap mango for banana.
  • Swap dairy yogurt or kefir for a non-dairy, cultured product made from soy or coconut.
