Chia Berry Delight


Chia seeds are a nutritionally-packed powerhouse that provide an easy way to boost minerals, protein, and fiber in your shakes.

Serves 1


3/4 cup frozen berries, such as blueberries, strawberries or a mix
1/2 cup packed fresh baby spinach
1/2 cup plain reduced fat yogurt or kefir
1/3 cup vanilla protein powder
4 ice cubes
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon


Place all ingredients in a blender along with 1/2 cup water and process until smooth. Serve immediately.

Swaps and Substitutions

  • Swap the chia seeds for a pinch of clove or nutmeg.
  • Swap dairy yogurt or kefir for a non-dairy cultured product made from soy or coconut.
